Construction of Quarantine Camp

Are you starting to see the bigger picture yet!

Australia officials said, they don't like the idea of hotels being used for quarantine, so they have decided to start putting up quarantine camps, and they want them in every state. How thoughtful of them huh. Coming to a city near you soon.

So it looks like construction is under way at Melbourne’s Centre for National Resilience. The name given to the new quarantine facility in Mickleham.

"Purpose-built quarantine facilities proposed in Queensland and Western Australia" on June 25th 2021

“I have asked my officials to prioritize this project and I want to see that all efforts are made to deliver the first stages of the facility by the end of 2021,” Mr Morrison wrote."

"On completion of the first stages, a facility with a 1000 bed capacity will increase the number of Australians that can return to Australia and provide options to assist in our economic recovery by enabling arrivals of international students, skilled migrants and other economic intakes into the medium term.”

“We’d like to see facilities in each state and territory in particular where there are international arrivals. We don’t know how long we’re going to be battling COVID-19, but it’s going to be for years,” he said."
