Are You Surprised?

Are we even surprised one bit, NOPE! The Jesuit is wooing the 'World' again, and they are loving it.

Long before Francis or 'Jorge Mario Bergoglio' was Pope, he endorsed civil unions for gays, it was just kept on the down low.

Here is a excerpt from a 2013 article..
"What Bergoglio said to him at a meeting soon afterward that year, 2010, was even more surprising, Marquez said. He told me.... 'I'm in favor of gay rights and in any case, I also favor civil unions for homosexuals, but I believe that Argentina is not yet ready for a gay marriage law,'" said Marquez, a gay rights activist, a self-described devout Catholic and a former theology professor at a Catholic seminary." -CNN March 21, 2013

And speaking of 2010, there was an article put out by the Guardian titled…. 'Catholic church embarrassed by gay priests revelations'

Here is a excerpt…
"Vatican on defensive again after magazine exposes priests visiting gay clubs and bars and having sex."

"A member of the clergy quoted by the magazine put the proportion of gay priests in the Italian capital at "98%"." -Guardian July 23rd 2010

So it's no secret that the Vatican is in support of the gay lifestyle and even gay unions/marriages.

And who could forget these statements. When Pope Francis was elected in 2013, he said, 'Who am I to judge'. Then again in 2018 he told a gay man, 'God made you this way'.

And lastly we have this excerpt from Time magazine yesterday…
"The Jesuit priest who has been at the forefront in seeking to build bridges with gays in the church, the Rev. James Martin, praised the pope’s comments as “a major step forward in the church’s support for LGBT people.” -Time October 21, 2020
