St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Founder of The Jesuits

This is a statue of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of The Jesuits. The statue resides at the St. Peters Basilica. He was the 1st Superior General (also known as 'The Black Pope'). And here he is stomping on a Protestant that is holding a Bible, with serpents attacking him, wrapped around his arm.

In the book that St. Ignatius is holding, are the Latin words 'AD MAIOREM DEI GLORIAM' on one page, meaning 'To the greater glory of God'. And 'CONSTITU TIONES SOCIETATIS IESU' on the other page, meaning 'Constitution of the Society of Jesus'. This is a powerful image!

While many believers during the Reformation period attempted to spread the truth of the gospel. The Jesuits were created by Ignatius of Loyola (an injured solider turned mystic). They were the Vatican's military order to fight the Counter Reformation. Jesuits were commissioned by the Pope to do whatever it took to end the Protestant Reformation.

During this time, millions of Christians were killed at the hands of these Jesuits. Every believer should read Foxe’s Book of Martyrs, it describes the many atrocities that took place. However, it's a very difficult book to read, it's heavy on the heart. But it's good to learn your history!

The Jesuits are still here, they didn't go away!!! BUT now they are wiser, they have crept into our Universities, Governments, Churches etc around the world to softly indoctrinate the people. Read my last post on the Jesuits for more info. Study and Keep Watch!
