The Rosary

What you need to know about the Rosary….
The word Rosary comes from Latin and means a garland of roses, the rose being one of the flowers used to symbolize the 'Virgin Mary'. Even being called 'Mary the Mystical Rose'.
Why was a Rose chosen though, once again, many things go back to goddess worship. A symbol of love and passion, the ancient Greeks and Romans associated roses with Aphrodite and Venus, goddesses of love. Also in ancient Rome, a wild rose was used as a symbol of something told in secret. Something for you to pond on!
Rosary prayer beads come in all shapes, colors, sizes and quality. The Rosary in simplest terms is a tool used to aid Catholic prayer and meditation. However the Rosary is commonly recognized as the symbol of Catholicism. It is quit interesting to note though, many other religions use prayer beads as well, such as Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Baha'i, and Paganism.
Although it's believed the origination of prayer beads can be traced back to Hinduism. Their prayer beads are called 'Japa mala'. Japa is repeating of the name of a deity, or a mantra. Mala means garland or wreath. Now the word Rosary makes more sense.
Remember this is also why Yoga is dangerous. Mantra meditation helps to induce an altered state of consciousness. This is why many religions have incorporated a type of mantra into their worship, so that they can control the people.
What takes place during this prayer of the Rosary….
"The Rosary is a devotion in honor of the 'Virgin Mary'. It consists of a set number of specific prayers. First are the introductory prayers: one Apostles’ Creed, one Our Father, three Hail Mary’s, one Glory Be, then on to first Mystery, and so on, finally ending in the Hail Holy Queen closing prayer.
These are the words to the closing prayer right here. Read these words and tell me where would this have come from. Because you will NEVER find anything even close to this in our Bible….
"Hail holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary."
The Mary of The Bible is not this Queen of Heaven, she was a blessed servant of The Father! Yet the Roman Catholic Church is guilty of claiming that this Queen of Heaven is Mary, and causing Billions to Idolize her. If you want to find this Queen of Heaven look no further then Jeremiah 7, you can read about how the people idolizing her provoked The Father to anger, sadly that same thing is taking place once again! There is nothing new under the sun.
The Roman Catholic Church has deceived people for centuries. Everything today is 'Our Lady' and 'Our Queen' and 'Our Mother'.
Where is Jesus the Messiah in their worship?! If you listen to any Roman Catholic worship service you will hear Mary's name being invoked! The Bible teaches that ONLY the name of Jesus (Yeshua) should be exalted, for there is NO salvation in any other name…
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” Philippians 2:9-10
We are commanded to TEST every spirit… "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1 John 4:2
And lastly, Jesus Himself stated that we are NOT to pray using vain repetitions!
"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him." Matthew 6:7-8
You see The Father does not like the counting of repetitive prayer, reciting of certain phrases over and over, he compares it to what the 'heathens' the pagans did. These are nothing but mantras, He warns us to not do it, it's all in vain!
We are to pray from the heart with confidence and believe that He hears us. 1 John 5:14-15 Mark 11:24. We are to Sing a new song to Him, to Praise Him! We are not to sit and repeat some man-made words over and over, that could altered the state of our consciousness. Remember our battle daily is a spiritual one.
Just like in Luke 18:12-14 The religious Pharisee went on about how great he was that he tithed and fasted. Yet the tax collector humbled himself and cried out 'God have mercy on me a sinner'.
You see, the simply humble act to cry out to God means so much more then performing some religious acts. We need to come out of these man-made religions and traditions and seek Him with all our heart, mind and soul.
In my opinion these Rosaries are very dangerous. May you have a desire to research them for your self. We need to be Bereans and search out the scriptures.
