The ‘Holy Door’
This 'Holy Door' is only to be opened and closed every Jubilee, 'Holy Year'. Also called the 'door of great pardon'. Because the Pope and his priest will forgive 'special' sins during a jubilee year. A Roman Catholic Jubilee year is held every 25 years or whenever the Pope chooses.
The Holy Door or Porta Sancta in latin, is also referred to as a 'Portal'. They believe that when you walk through the door, symbolically you are standing in the 'Temple of God'. Hmmm!
Interest to note, this is the first time in History that a Pope not only opened the 'Holy door' of the Basilica but opened 'Holy Doors' in Cathedrals around the world for everyone to walk through Dec 8th 2015-Nov 20th 2016.
What I want to share is, on this 'Holy door' of St. Peter's Basilica, there are 16 frames all referring to scenes in the Bible, the Fall, Jesus' baptism, Peter's denial, Saul, Peter, Mary and so on. Only 1 of the 16 frames, has a picture of a Pope. This frame has an inscription 'Sto ad ostium et pulso' meaning 'I stand at the door and knock'.
This Pope has in his hand a small golden Hammer, used to knock on the door 3 times. Many years ago they used a mason hammer. Note, as of the year 2000 they no longer knock with the hammer, they only push on the door.
Also 3 knocks has a superstitious history of it's own. For what it's worth, in Freemason teaching, when the candidate is prepared, the Deacon takes him by the left arm, leads him up to the door of the Lodge, and gives three loud, distinct knocks.
'I stand at the door and knock' is only referring to Revelation 3:20, which is a picture of Jesus standing at the door. In context, Jesus is speaking to the lukewarm church, He is telling them that He loves them and He needs to rebuke them, and He goes on to say, repent! And if you repent and overcometh this world you will be with Him.
Once again, in James 5:9, Jesus is speaking of His soon coming and He is standing at the door. "Do not complain about one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged. Look, the Judge is standing at the door!" JESUS is standing at the door!
So why would a Pope being knocking on this door. Well one of the many titles of the Pope is 'Vicar of Christ' (Latin Vicarius Christi) the etymology of this word is simple, Vicarius means 'SUBSTITUTE' so his title really means the 'Substitute of Jesus'.
Well if you know your Bible, the ONLY 'substitute' for Jesus is the Holy Spirit, John 14:16! All Popes are counterfeit of Jesus, Antichrist. The word, 'Anti' doesn't only mean, opposed to or against, it also means, 'Instead' and 'In the place of'.
Also according to Catholic teaching, walking through special Holy Doors results in a remission from sin, when accompanied by prayer and repentance. The remission from sin is called an 'indulgence'. The act of walking through the doors symbolizes spiritual renewal and the passage from sin to grace.
What is an 'Indulgence'? A grant by the Pope of remission of the temporal punishment in purgatory still due for sins after absolution.
So you are allowed to walk through these doors once for each sin. BUT!!! Each time you walk through these doors, you must do 3 things! You must receive the 'Holy Eucharist', make a 'Confession', AND!!! Pray for the 'Pope's INTENTIONS' also called 'The Holy Father's Intentions'. Doesn't that sound like something very familiar?! The Lord's Prayer, when you pray for the The Father's Will to be done?! Just more Blasphemy! Did you know that every month, Pope Francis puts out 'his intentions', what he wants the Catholic people to pray for around the world!
So the whole point of walking through this door is for forgiveness. And Last year, Pope Francis gave a 'special' forgiveness for women who had abortions.
According to the Bible, Forgiveness ONLY comes from The Father in Heaven, the Almighty, the I AM that I AM! Acts 8:22, Isa 43:25 Dan 9.9 Mic 7:18 Psa 130:4 And NOT from a Pope or a Priest!!!
All I can do is keep warning people to come out of her, out of these Catholic and even Christian Churches that are following after the Pope.
Read the Bible for yourself, don't follow after man! This Pope and all past popes, starting in 64AD have wanted to take the place of The Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus the Messiah! Pray and ask The Almighty Heavenly Father for discernment!
