Does It Matter When Jesus Was Born? (Post 15)

Since many will agree that Jesus, The Messiah was not born in December, due to careful study of the Scriptures. Most 'Christians' will say, …"Who cares when Jesus was born!" or "It doesn't even matter what day Jesus was born on!"

So my question to you is, does it matter?! Please read and consider if you feel it doesn't matter to you as a believer….

We know that Jesus' life was unique in that His life was prophesied in great detail by Bible prophets centuries before He was born. Born of a Virgin (Isaiah 7:14) Born of the family of Jesse (Isaiah 11:1) Born of the house of David (Jeremiah 23:5) Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2) and there are many more scriptures. It was also prophesied when Jesus would be presenting himself as The Messiah, King, to Jerusalem while riding on a donkey (Zechariah 9:9) The Messiah would be betrayed (Zechariah 11:12-13). The Messiah's hands and feet would be pierced (Zechariah 12:10). And on and on! The Father has everything preplanned to the day of The Messiah's return! There is an 'appointed day' when He will judge the world in righteousness (Acts 17:31).

Our Father is a detailed Creator! He keeps track of the stars and He knows them by name (Psalms 147:4). He knows the very number of hairs on your head (Luke 12:7).

The key verse here that I want to share with you is Galatians 4:4…"But when the FULNESS OF THE TIME WAS COME, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons". What does it mean by "fulness of the time was come". It means completeness of time, the 'appointed time'.

Do you think The Father would want us to know when our Messiah was born, of course. Why would He even tell us that Gabriel came to Mary when Elizabeth was in her sixth month of pregnancy? We need to understand, that Our Father is looking for those that want to know His Word! Those who have a desire to study the scriptures out. "Being Bereans!"

Think about some other verses such as, Matt 24:15, Jesus tell us to go read Daniel for understanding. Or 1 Thessalonians 5, we are told many will be caught off guard by the Messiah's return, but not if we are of the light, we will know, since we read the scriptures. The Bible is like a puzzle. The Father says that the scriptures are foolish to those who don't know Him, but if you know Him, then all the pieces will come together and we will have understanding.

NOW, back to "Does it matter that Jesus, The Messiah wasn't born in December?" With the above stated, and the understanding that we have a detailed Father, who wants us to have understanding, does it matter?!

There is only one reason for Jesus' birth to be placed in December, and that is to deceive the Father's children (and the whole world). The end of December was already popular since the beginning of time, from Nimrod to the different pagan religions celebrating the birthday of their sun gods as we know.

Do we want to celebrate the birth of our King, on a day that has always been for the worship of the sun gods? As if to recycled the day! We do have a choice, to follow the world and it's traditions or to stand for truth. Remember, The Father is not concerned about us celebrating Jesus' birth, but remembering His death. We were told to "This do in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19/ 1 Corinthians 11:24) Our Messiah's ultimate sacrifice for us, is what we are to hold on to dearly. And if you want to remember His birth, that would be in the fall, when he came to dwell or 'Tabernacle' with His people.

So I share this with you in hopes that maybe you have not viewed the birth of your Savior in this way. May you have a desire in your heart to look further into Christmas. I have no intentions of hurting anyone, I just desire to share the truth. And it's not always easy to share this or to receive it. But just remember Our Precious Father longs for us to worship Him in 'Spirit and in Truth'. May we all continue growing in our faith and maturity as believers daily.

Much love!
