The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth
Revelation 17:5 ...'And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.'
She is the 'MOTHER' Church of Harlots. The Vatican ALWAYS refers to herself as the 'Mother Church'. Another very obvious clue for you!
There is no 'Mystery' church today like the Roman Catholic Church. But notice that she is the "Mother of Harlots". She has 'daughter churches' who follow her and her dogma instead of The Father's true Word!
And just look at the churches of the world today, like the Orthodox, Church of England, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterians, etc. They have all held onto the false teachings (wine) of the 'Mother' Rome. They put more value in their own dogma than they do the Word of God, and they are all now Uniting with their Mother (Rome) in this Ecumenical movement today. The Pentecostals are running back as well.
And what church is the 'Mother' of abominations of the earth? Literal Babylon from the Old Testament is the original mother of abominations, but the Roman Catholic Church is the Spiritual Mother of abominations that took on many of the Pagan customs of original Babylon and blended them with Christianity.
The Pagans worshiped the Sun god, and it's very obvious that the Roman Catholic Church is submersed in Sun Worship. St. Peter's Square is a huge sun dial with an Egyptian Obelisk in the middle. The Monstrance (a sacred vessel) is a SUN. The Eucharistic wafer host is a sun. The stain glass above the Alter at the Basilica is a sun. Sun halos, sun dials, solar disk, sunburst and sun faces, there are Suns everywhere in her!
Also in the same way that the literal Babylon was about 'Oneness' (Gen 11:6). And The Father confounded their language. So now the Spiritual Babylon aka Roman Catholic Church wants to come together in 'Oneness' and have us toss our doctrine aside. This is nothing more then Confusion!!!
Lastly, why is her name written on her Forehead. Once again we need to look at the Old Testament. In Exodus 28:36 The high priest was told to make a solid gold signet and engrave the words 'HOLINESS TO THE LORD' on it and place it on the forefront of the miter.
The Gold Papal Tiara at the Vatican has the words 'Vicarius Filii Dei' on it, meaning 'Substitute for the Son of God.' Do you see the mockery! I will be sharing more on the Tiara later.
On top of this, The Father is going to seal His faithful in the Forehead with His name!
