The Merchants will Mourn when she Falls

Rev 18:11 The merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her: for no man buyeth their merchandise any more.

So the first thing, who are the Merchants of today. Those would be Business Companies and Stocks Investors.
There is coming a day that the Roman Catholic Church is going to be taken down. You can read about the fall of Mystery Babylon in Rev 18. And when she goes down, companies will lose large amounts of money because of her. Take a look at this article from the Economist ….

"By studying court documents in bankruptcy cases, examining public records, requesting documents from local, state and federal governments, as well as talking to priests and bishops confidentially, The Economist has sought to quantify the damage."

"The Economist estimates that annual spending by the church and entities owned by the church was around $170 billion in just the year 2010."

Not only does the Vatican own their 110 acres of Vatican City. They own roughly 177 million more acreage of various lands throughout the world, including the hundreds of Vatican embassies.

That is a lot of money being spent! And I'm sure there is much more. But let's say they spend a good amount of money to run these Catholic Churches, Schools, Hospitals, Charities and so on around the world. Thinking about those things, might help us match these verses to her.

Verse 18:12 "The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble"

The Churches through out the world, uses Purple and Scarlet apparel. Gold, Silver and Precious Stones are used in their fancy Cathedrals, Churches and on their Mass Alters. Marble for their pillars, wood for their buildings, pews and crucifixes, brass for their Censers, Cups, and many other sacred vessels. We even have images of the church giving people gifts of 'Ivory' crucifixes with Jesus on them. Just disturbing!

Verse 18:13 And cinnamon, and spice, and incense, and myrrh, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

When the Church makes it's 'Holy Smoke' to be used in their Censers they use spices such as Frankincense and Myrrh. Obviously they use wine and flour for communion, oil for lamps and baptism, maybe the beast and sheep for food, and horses and chariots for transportation.

Verse 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

I believe these ship masters to be the Stock Traders of today. This is just my opinion. And here is why.

I'm gonna be honest, I know nothing about Stocks! However, The Catholic Church seems to like Stocks and invests in them. We have no idea the amount of money this Church really has, they are so sneaky. But here is what they are investing in openly.

Remember The Vatican Bank has been at the center of scandals and corruption since it was founded in 1942! It claims to only have $8 Billion in assets, but we will never know the real truth, since they keep lying! Not a good a 'Virtue' for a church!

Remember, the 'Vatileaks' scandal, with over 4000 internal Vatican documents leaks, we were able to find out about the Vatican's corruption, power struggles, bribes, money laundering, and a lack of desire to follow the dictates of the FATF (Financial Action Task Force).

There is so much about the Vatican's Finances that we will never know, because she is a corrupt Whore. So do I believe that this is another marker, and that the Merchants will mourn when she falls, Rev 18:11. Yes I do, I'm just putting the pieces together, could I be wrong, of course.
