I sit as a Queen
Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Well there is much to say on this on many different levels. But I'll keep it short.
Not only has she exalted herself over the Kings and Leaders of the world. And has most definitely lived deliciously off the riches gained from deceiving innocent people.
She glorifies herself with arrogant and Blasphemous titles. The 'Supreme Pontiff', meaning the 'Greatest High Priest'. The 'Vicar of Christ', meaning the 'Substitute for Jesus'. And the most popular title the 'Holy Father' the most blasphemous of them all!
The Vatican is Untouchable! The Vatican City is an independent sovereign City-State. And they govern themselves with Canon Laws. The Pope has full legislative, executive, and judicial authority over Vatican City.
Diplomatically, the Holy See acts and speaks for the whole church. The name Holy See, Latin word 'sedes' meaning 'seat', the Holy Seat! She SITS on the World and governs it.
Also the Roman Catholic Church teaches that Mary, Jesus' mother, died and was taken up to heaven in body and soul, and was exalted by Jesus as the Queen over all things. And the Queen of Heaven and the Universe. And she is the Queen and Mother of the Roman Catholic Church.
Many Catholics want to deny that the Roman Catholic Church was formed out of Pagan Rome and mixed with Christianity. But this is where we get the 'Queen of Heaven' read Jeremiah 7:18.
I could sit here and list quote after quote of the past popes claiming to be above the authority of the Bible or even God. Or how the Pope is God here on earth in the flesh. But do I have any of these books myself for evince, no! When I share, I look for facts that I can prove. So I won't waste time posting them here.
However I will share facts from the Vatican's own website, that you can look up for your own self. The Papal Tiara, the Triple Crown. Is explained as "Three crowns symbolizing the triple power of the Pope: Father of Kings, Governor of the World and Vicar of Christ. Those are not my words, but the Vaticans.
That is a pretty powerful statement. That crown represents, the Pope's authority over the World AND he is the 'Vicar' the SUBSTITUTE of Jesus! Think about that! The Roman Catholic Church, the Whore of Babylon, believes that she is invisible, she is like a Queen. I'll leave you with these last verses.
This verse here 'for she saith in her heart' I sit a queen' in Rev 18:7 Is the same spirit of Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:". Because satan is the one who gives this Beast power in Rev 13:4.
